Bodegas Caro Amancaya 2007 Malbec-Cabernet Sauvignon

This joint venture between Barons De Rothschild Lafite and Nicolas Catena makes wonderful wines, and this 2007 is no exception. The wine is blood purple in the glass with a big nose of fruit and a little spice without lots of vanilla and oak. This Argentinean wine has good acid and plenty of tannin. The only fault with this wine is a little raisin character on the backend. ($17.50) |
